Dry Powder Inhalants (DPI)

Dry Powder Inhalers (DPIs) are one the of the method to treat resparatory problems or diseases. Dry Powder Inhalers are used to deliver respiratory drugs. The disases which are normally treated through DPIs are  asthma and COPD, but their use has also been tested for the treatment of other diseases like diabetes etc. Manufacturing of DPIs are very trichy . the most important is preparation of dry poiwder which need fast absoption into the bloodstream. Dry Powder Inhalers release a powder on inhalation that contains very fine active ingredients. These active ingredients (API) are mixed with othe ingridients to stablaize active ingridient and to make it sutable for transportation and absoption.  Such preparation provide cohesion inside the inhaler, and separation on absorption in the lungs.
